Jim Russell Opens Karting School
February 24, 2011
The Jim Russell Racing School is pleased to announce the opening of the Jim Russell Karting School and to introduce Jean Sebastien Sauriol as Chief Instructor of Karting.
The new Karting School will focus its training curriculum and programs on the same proven principals which have made the Jim Russell name synonymous for more than 40 years as a leader in motorsport training.
Providing the best racing equipment and most thought out training programs the School's success is also attributed to operating at one of the world’s most renowned racing tracks, Circuit Mont Tremblant. The circuit and equipment at the karting track will be no different.
The newly built 1.2 km CIK-FIA International circuit boasts 15 turns and is considered the top karting facility in the country. Having hosted the Canadian Nationals last season, Circuit Mont Tremblant’s Karting Track will host a World Series of Karting event this year.
A brand new fleet of state-of-the-art racing karts will compliment the Jim Russell racing stable and aid in developing and preparing students for competition.
The introduction of the new Karting School now provides a natural step ladder for today’s young aspiring racers to follow the footsteps of past Jim Russell graduates such as Formula 1 greats Gilles Villeneuve and Jacques Villeneuve just to name a select few.
New details will be announced shortly, please be sure to visit our website in the coming weeks for updates to programs and schedules at www.jimrussellkarting.com.
